Quite a few Benriach's today....but this 1966 is a true gem.  Try it now.  The staff of Royale Mile Whiskies seemed to like it very much...and so do I.

Staff Tasting Notes
Nose: Honey, vanilla, pink citrus, grapefruit and orange. Exotic fruit salad (peach, nectarine, melon and guava).
Palate: More of those exotic fruits (melon in particular), very smooth with white wine a touch of salt. Water brings fresh leather and wax.
Finish: long, fresh and slightly salty.
Comments: We were all very impressed. Reminiscent of a Glen Scotia, or an 1960’s Bowmore. Lovely!
